The point of this apparatus was to study the effects of a reaction that was taking place.Fuller also wanted to better understand the process of a chemical reaction and how the rate of it changed. By observing the rates of reactions from a distance, he was able to predict the speed of a chemical reaction. He even created an instrument that measured this rate by using electricity. With these observations, he was able to predict the rate of a chemical reaction much more accurately than his peers and colleagues.Fuller's invention gave him many opportunities to demonstrate the power of the chemistry and knowledge he had gained. He lectured widely on the advantages of his invention and used it to help improve the education of other scientists. Eventually, Fuller was the first person to receive a Nobel Prize for Chemistry. However, Fuller didn't stop there, he continued to develop radio chemistry and it has since become one of the most popular supplementary learning tools in the world.
